Sprouts Farmers Market Prices Are Now in Morning Basket
Sprouts is the eighth chain Morning Basket compares. Prices come from your own Sprouts store, and the app tells you honestly when the natural-grocer price isn't the cheapest.
Starting today, Morning Basket prices your cart at Sprouts Farmers Market. It's the eighth chain in the app, alongside Kroger and its family of stores, Aldi, Walmart, Target, H-E-B, Meijer and Stop & Shop.
If there's a Sprouts near you, it shows up in your store list the next time you open the app. Add it, and every item on your list gets priced there too.
What's different about Sprouts
Sprouts prices vary by store, so we price you at your Sprouts, not a national average. Pick the location you actually shop and the numbers you see are the numbers on that store's shelves.
Sprouts is also a natural grocer, and that changes the math. Most of what they sell is organic, pasture-raised, grass-fed or otherwise a step up from the conventional version. That's great if it's what you want, and it's also why a plain half gallon of milk or a dozen eggs will usually cost more there than at Kroger or Aldi.
Morning Basket doesn't hide that. If Sprouts is the most expensive place for your list, the app says so. If it's cheaper for the organic produce and the bulk bins, and Aldi is cheaper for the staples, the split-cart option shows you exactly which items to buy where and what you'd save by making two stops.
What you'll see
- Your store, your prices. Choose the Sprouts location you shop and the app prices your cart there.
- Honest matching. When an item on your list only comes in an organic or premium version at Sprouts, that's what gets compared, and the size is matched to what you'd buy elsewhere so the totals are apples to apples.
- "Fix" on every row. If we matched the wrong product, tap Fix and pick the right one. That correction sticks.
Who gets it
Sprouts is part of Smart Cart, the same tier as Walmart, Target, H-E-B, Meijer and Stop & Shop. The free plan still compares Kroger and Aldi for everyone. If you want to try Sprouts, the 14-day Smart Cart trial needs no card and drops back to free on its own when it ends.
Where it works
Sprouts has about 500 stores across the Sunbelt and the West, from Arizona and California through Texas, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida.
